When I asked Trent Evans what motivated him to take the Pass~Port team to the centre of Australia his reply was:
“IT’S THE LAST THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH YOU WOULD THINK TO DO A SKATEBOARD TRIP, SO SEEMED LIKE THE PERFECT PLACE TO DO A SKATEBOARD TRIP…”
He also talked about enlisting long time friend Tim Hillier as tour-guide after numerous stories he had told at the pub about the big old Red Centre. “It seemed like an absolute must to have him leading the charge. He had the local knowledge, community initiatives, late night highway driving expertise, best pubs, most lucious swimming holes, always cool, calm & collected – he nailed it.”
