adidas Skateboarding announces Das Days Melbourne, following the success of the international event series in Los Angeles and New York City. The Australian debut on Saturday July 14th aims to create a unique experience within the local skate scene and beyond.
As part of the Das Days program, adidas Skateboarding will also celebrate the release of the 3MC – the brand’s most versatile vulcanized shoe to date. The 3MC blends staple elements and performance features from adidas’ rich archive and its modern skate shoes, resulting in an ultimate essential.
adidas Skateboarding Australia team riders who will be in attendance for the event include Dennis Durrant, Gabriel Summers, Kayle Lawson, Morgan Campbell, Adam Davies and LP Nuku.
The Das Days programming for the day will include an open skate jam with custom built street obstacles, a concert headlined by Tyrannamen, a 3MC gallery featuring art by Dave Chami, Sid Tapia and members of the local adidas Skateboarding team, a pop up bar and food trucks.
Between 6pm – 10pm at Welcome to Thornbury, the Das Days program will host an open skate area, a 3MC gallery with works from the adidas Skateboarding network and team riders, pop up bar and food trucks and a live music lineup featuring:
