INTRODUCING THE FIRST EVER DC SHOES & BUTTER GOODS COLLAB INCLUDES FULL APPAREL COLLECTION AND KALIS OG

Australia’s much-respected skateboard clothing brand, Butter Goods, gives the people what they want- collaborating with DC Shoes for a special apparel launch and a Kalis OG takeover. Tying every design back to the high times of 90’s skate, the two trailblazing companies link up for the first time, product-wise, in what’s sure to be a fan favourite.

The connection between Butter Goods and DC Shoes is that they each understand where the other is coming from. Their histories add up to the same sum and feel aligned in values. This first collaboration is dedicated to true skate kids – ones that grew up wearing both brands loyally.

The Perth-based brand was founded in 2008 by Matthew Evans and Garth Mariano, two friends who turned hanging out and skateboarding into a successful clothing company. It was a mutual fondness for design and the awareness of a lack of skate apparel that amped them up to start their own thing.

Butter Goods is not one to beat around the bush. They’re straightforward in their design delivery and have been since the day they started. Good quality is non-negotiable, and authenticity is key. What’s earned them respect is that fact that they’ve remained skateboarder-operated, and they create with intent from a place of purity. Their collections are not led by fashion’s preference, but by the culture of skateboarding. It’s rare today to find names in the industry who exist for a legit reason, and this is what makes Butter Goods stick out.

With that in mind, Butter Goods took archive pieces and gave them a modern refresh. The exclusive drop includes a track-suit, sweatshirts, bucket hat, and a generous collection of tees in solid colors, featuring front-and-center graphics. When it comes to the Kalis OG, Butter Goods took the reigns completely, replacing the rubber DC logo detail to read DC Butter. Blue ombré fabric, reflective Butter logo on the back, and a gum sole lighten up the cold-weather mood for the time of the year.
