We had a great weather day. Sunny and 75 degrees. The 4 mile push race was well attended by a variety of skaters ages 14 through 48.

The race started really tight and close with some early lead changes and battles all though the field. As the race progressed, the faster wheels and younger legs began to show their worth. At the finish, three of the top four finishers were a group of rowdy hill bombers from Ashland, KY. Third place by California import, Tommy Gun Sloan prevented a Kentucky sweep of the podium. The unofficial results are as follows.

There was also a short board race for the kids at 1.6 miles and a jump ramp and slalom demo to fill in the rest of the day. Good to see skateboarding being represented in a positive way.
