Go Skateboarding Day : June 21
On June 21 skateboarders around the globe will celebrate the pure exhilaration, creativity, and spirit of one of the most influential activities in the world by blowing off all other obligations to go skateboarding!
Skateboarders everywhere will hold fundraisers, contests, protests, demo's, they'll skate across cities, gather in skateparks, stream into their local skate shop and some will even revel in the solitary act of skateboarding alone, all bringing together the skateboarding community in the grind heard around the world.

Come join Honey Skateboards and Loaded for Go Skateboarding Day 2009: Sunday June 21 1:00pm Santa Monica Beach Cruise
Beach Cruise from Santa Monica Pier to Venice Boardwalk (2 miles) Meeting: Bicknell Hill (Google Bicknell Hill, Santa Monica, CA for directions) Parking: Bicknell Hill Parking lot might be your best bet for all day parking. Cost is 7 dollars.
It's Go Skateboarding Day! Bring out your board for a nice cruise along the beach. Starting at the famous Z-Boyz spot, Bicknell Hill, down to Venice beach. The cruise is a short 2 miles away so most people will be skating back to Santa Monica. Don't forget your Helmet.

Our GSD wil be in Oporto, skating across town. In the end of the day there will be a diner at Mario's, where longboarders only pay for what they drink.

We will skate across OPORTO in Portugal, all the comunity knows about the event through the Portuguese longboard forum (http://www.thelongboarderz-forum.com) .
Red bull will be with us, with their big Hummer !!!
And the diner will be at Mario`s Bar Restaurant, free food, longboarders only pay what they drink... Portuguese Partys ...

I cannot wait for GSD! I was contacted by the owner of St. Cloud's local skateshop. They're hosting an event at a skatepark and he wants me to come up with some kind of longboarding demo/comp/cruise. A really cool opportunity for me. Super psyched.
