As winter nips at the heels and the sound of recently shed leaves rustle under foot – we find ourselves in the sleepy seaside town of Penguin, Tasmania. We are here to see where it all began for a young man, known to many as Gabbers. A young man as famous for his super-human pain threshold as he is for chomping monstrous handrails around the world. This trip began in typical Gabbers fashion – doing a mischief on the first trick and finding himself in hospital. Traumatic for the average Joe, but just another day at the office for this maniac.
