Tight and Hybrid Finals - Hood River, OR - 2008

Sunday started as Saturday did. Hating life, waking up to get to the course by 5 am to help set courses. Jonathan Harms helped us set the tight and hybrid courses. He’s the master.

The Convoy Leaves at Noon

We took our time getting ready and catching up. Finally got the car packed and we were off. Our first stop was to pick up Wentzle IV. His step-father lives in SE Portland, so we scooped him up and hit Burnside. How can you come to Portland and not skate Burnside? (Easy, go skate one of our 4 or 5 new parks). I was delusional to think I would be making entries while I'm here. It has been nonstop. Prague was fantastic and Policka was fun. Patrik has been a host without peers. We will be back there for a day after Amsterdam. We are having such a good time. Museums everyday. Lots of chilin'. I can't wait to skate the GS. We will be using the HUGE start ramps the German guys built. Had a blast with Ritchy and Maria in Prague. Everyone has been great. Dom was killing. Diggin the Euroscene.
