I'm turning 52 in early December, and since fitness legend Jack LaLanne lives in Morro Bay, I'm going to borrow a page from his book and skate 52 miles in one day on the first weekend in December.
The route will start 52 miles north of Morro Bay and finish at Morro Bay Surf Company in where else...Morro Bay. Anyone who wants to join me is welcome.
So I guess that means you're actually only 38, right?

Guess I'm no Jack Lalanne. Only made it 38 miles out of the planned 52. Started in Gorda, stopped just south of Hwy 1 and Hwy 46. It was tough going from Gorda to Ragged Point. My skate partner Scott Kam could have easily skated the remaining 14 miles, not me, I was spent. Photos soon.

Tomorrow is the big day and I'm a bit nervous...not about turning 52, but being able to skate 52 miles in a day. I plan on using my RollsRolls and on the flats I will have my "Big Stick" with me.
Scott Kam will be joining and hopefully Adrian Pina will be along for the ride. We will be starting about 10 miles north of Ragged Point and skating down Highway 1 to Morro Bay.

I will actually be pulling 52 Radio Flyer wagons, each with a local beauty queen aboard.
