Skater for Life needs help with Skate park campaign

Hey All members of Skateboarders Journal I need your help!!! I am working with S'Klallam youth on the Port Gamble S'Klallam reservation to help them realize a community skate park. But it needs help. It needs everyone taping into their social networks and encouraging everyone they know to tap into their social networks to bring it about.

Let me explain I was able to help a tribal youth group from the reservation where I work to get nominated for an initiative called "Be the Change" through an organization called the Sheckler Foundation. They and three other projects are nominated to receive funding to support their effort. The local S'Klallam kids are trying to get support for a small skatepark, because there is no place for kids to go on the reservation, no parks or public spaces or anything. So I nominated them to this project. They were selected to compete with three other causes. The winner is determined by the number of online votes they receive. Voting began today. Participants can vote everyday until March 28th. To vote got the and click on the "Be the Change Link" then you register to vote using your email address. Vote for the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal Skate Park Please do this everyday until the initiative closes. The second favor is to send this request out along as extensive of a social network you have with requests for people to vote daily, and to extend the request throughout their social network. This is an amazing opportunity for the reservation kids. It shows that they indeed can bring about change in their communities through their actions, and it also could potentially provide them with a community park. Okay that is it. I'd Love your participation Thanks for your help on this effort of the Port Gamble S'Klallam youth. This is a place where something like a skatepark can make a huge community impact.
