Melbourne’s weather and skateboard community really turned up the dial at this weekends Adidas x Fast Times #SKATECOPA event.
The clouds made way for blue skies and sunshine, just in time for people to rock up to the RMIT basketball courts to be greeted by the site some of Melbourne’s most iconic skate spots recreated for a day of non-stop shredding.
adidas Skateboarding international team riders in attendance for the day included Mike Arnold, Magnus Bordewick, Maite Steenhoudt, Gustav Tonnesen, Kai Kishi, Kotora Mitani, and Laurence Keefe. There was also the Australian contingency of Dennis Durrant, Tom Snape, Gabriel Summers and Brad Saunders. But this event was by no means exclusive – it was a free skate policy and locals, young and old were free to join the mayhem.
