At a time when overseas travel was pure a commodity, now no longer a feasible option around the world. The Baus Headwear crew were beyond lucky to have accomplished a 10 day trip over to Bali – Indonesia. These times where frantic in the rise of the covid-19 pandemic.

The trip consisted of the likes of Nixen Osbourne, Zane Hetherington, Bone, Ben Conway, Aimee Massie, Curt Morthorpe, Jay Hetherington, Harry Pascoe and BTX.

From the Skateboarding, the moped missions, the partying, the chants, to the ridiculous amounts of delivery food. The Baus crew manage to get an epic trip the would be remembered.

 

Zinger (Zane Hetherington) was on a tear straight off the plane. Unfortunately he wasn’t allowed to skate Pretty Poison at Night, when the real creatures come out to play. However we did manage to get the nod for Zinger to skate there in the day. The face of a 14 year old kid getting to skate his dream spot is priceless.

It didn’t take long for Zinger to warm up for this handrail, he went straight in no hesitation. A few tricks later he got this back lip first try for some cold hard cash.

Benny Conway was the jester of the trip so when he shot this amazing frontside tweeker at Eat Sleep Skate the whole crew erupted.
Benny and Curty (Curt Morthorpe) got delivery Nasi Goeng everywhere we went. Well how could you not for 2 Australian dollars delivered.
Curty was down to do anything on the trip whether it was skating, eating delicious food or partying he was down for it, positive vibes all round. Glad we had him along on this wild trip.
Aimee definitely kept up with the boys on the trip. She’d show up at spots and the locals would be so amazed at her talent, they had never see a girl that could shred so hard.

Bone our international rider from Singapore, had never met any of the Baus crew before. It wasn’t long before we realised he is an all round top bloke to have around. Few bintangs later he had spilled the beans and opened up a lot more about his life. We found out he runs his own board company, speaks multiple languages and is commander in the Singaporean Army. Nixen is a man of many talent’s from the jamming on the guitar, rapping, the skating. He is that charismatic guy that everyone draws too and fed out positivity the whole trip. The guy is good at everything! So this Feeble Fakie at Eat Sleep Skate came to him with ease and done with little effort.

Nixen Osbourne – Gap 50-50 Pull In – Eat Sleep Skate Uluwatu: The locals had mentioned a couple of people had tried this insane feat before and had no luck. Nixen overheard and jumped at the opportunity. It took him longer to work the line out than it took to land the actual trick. 2 try’s later and he had everyone gobsmacked with the make.

Big shout out to BTX, Essa Youlin, Bone, The Baus Crew, Harry Pascoe, Mary, Kijo and Christian from Pretty Poison, The Locals, Santai Skateshop, Motion Skate, Eat Sleep Skate, Lugis Hot Pizza and Loco By Nature this trip would be possible without you guys. Thank you all till next time.
